【约翰福音二章13-23节】
13犹太人的逾越节近了，耶稣就上耶路撒冷去。 14看见殿里有卖牛、羊、鸽子的，并有兑换银钱的人坐在那里，15耶稣就拿绳子做成鞭子，把牛羊都赶出殿去，倒出兑换银钱之人的银钱，推翻他们的桌子，16又对卖鸽子的说：把这些东西拿去！不要将我父的殿当作买卖的地方。 17他的门徒就想起经上记着说：我为你的殿心里焦急，如同火烧。 18因此犹太人问他说：你既做这些事，还显什么神迹给我们看呢？ 19耶稣回答说：你们拆毁这殿，我三日内要再建立起来。 20犹太人便说：这殿是四十六年才造成的，你三日内就再建立起来吗？ 21但耶稣这话是以他的身体为殿。 22所以到他从死里复活以后，门徒就想起他说过这话，便信了圣经和耶稣所说的。 23当耶稣在耶路撒冷过逾越节的时候，有许多人看见他所行的神迹，就信了他的名。
迦南婚宴后，不久，主耶稣就来到耶路撒冷，其实凡来到这里的犹太人，没有不以耶路撒冷中辉煌的圣殿而兴奋与自豪的。唯独耶稣这次来到这里，却是满心焦急与忿怒，因祂看见人们竟把这神圣的地方，变成了谋取私利的所在地。主虽孤单一人来到圣殿，祂却不怕冒犯众人，立刻斥责并改正圣殿中不正常的活动，主在迦南郷间，参加婚礼与人同乐； 当主来到辉煌的，却是忿怒地指责这些人群。这二者，同是祂荣耀的顕露。
耶稣洁净圣殿，四福音书均有记述(太21: 12-13；可11: 15-17；路19: 45-46；约 2: 13-16)。对当时的信徒来说，耶稣洁净圣殿是何等震撼的行动。
这段经文对我们产生深刻的印象，我们心目中的耶稣，是柔弱温和，善良非常，但这段经文显示出耶稣的另一面，怒火，义愤，把牛羊都赶走，推翻兑换银钱的桌子。
耶稣洁净圣殿的事件对我们有什么意义呢？
主洁净圣殿，主要恢复信仰的纯洁。
我们是「圣灵的殿」罗 6: 19-20。
我如何洁净自己。
结论：
求天父赐我们智慧，给我们辨别的灵，属灵的能力，认识人的心，又懂得怎样适当的应用神的话，保持神家的洁净，按神的旨意建造教会。

Cleanse the Temple, Cleanse Yourself
Scripture: [John 2:13-23]
Jesus Clears the Temple Courts
13 When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16 To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” 17 His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.” 18 The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?” 19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” 20 They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?” 21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body. 22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name.
Not long after the Canaanite wedding feast, the Lord Jesus came to Jerusalem. In fact, all Jews who came here were excited and proud of the glorious temple in Jerusalem. Only Jesus came here this time, but he was full of anxiety and anger, because He saw that people turned this sacred place into a place for personal gain. Although the Lord came to the temple alone, He was not afraid to offend everyone, and immediately reprimanded and corrected the abnormal activities in the temple. The Lord was in Canaan, attending weddings and having fun with others. But when the Lord came to the Holy place, He angrily accused these people. Both of these events manifested His glory.
Jesus cleansed the temple, as described in the four Gospels(Matt. 21: 12-13; Mark 11: 15-17; Luke 19: 45-46; John 2: 13-16). For the believers at that time, what a shocking action Jesus cleansed the temple.
This passage has made a deep impression on us. The Jesus in our mind is meek and gentle, and very kind, but this passage shows the other side of Jesus, anger, righteous indignation, driving away cattle and sheep, and overthrowing the money exchange table.
What does the event of Jesus cleansing the temple mean to us?
The Lord cleansed the temple and restored the purity of faith
We are the "temple of the Holy Spirit." Romans 6: 19-20
How do I cleanse myself?
Conclusion:
Pray for our heavenly Father to give us wisdom, to give us the spirit of discernment, spiritual ability, to know people's hearts, and to know how to properly apply God's words, keep the house of God clean, and build the church according to God's will.
