The Word Became Flesh
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. 14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”) 16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Who is a Christian? How to define a Christian? A Christian is a person who believes in Jesus Christ.
What is faith in Jesus?
In Gospel of John, John's definition of Christians focuses on one point: Christians are born of God.
There are several very important characteristics of Christians born of God, they are:
First, Christians understand who God is by knowing Christ.
Who is God? Where do good and evil come from? What is correct Christology?
Christ is God, Christ is the God of Creation.
Christ is God, and Christ is the God who controls everything.
Christ is God, and the authority of Christ is above all.
Christ is God, and Christ is the God with us, Emmanuel.
Second, Christians know that John the Baptist is a witness of Jesus Christ.
God sent his only beloved son into the world to save the world. In order to carry out his plan,
God also sent a special person to testify for his son. This person is John the Baptist, and John's mission in this world is to bear witness to Jesus Christ.
Third, Christians believe in the name of Jesus Christ to become children of God.
A Christian is a person who God predestined to choose the son of a son before he founded the world. Christians who are born again by God, they receive God, and they believe in the name of Jesus Christ. Redemption through the blood of the beloved Son, Jesus Christ, and forgiveness of sins. They received God's grace, and God gave them authority to become God's children.
Fourth, Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the essence of grace and truth.
As a Christian who has become a child of God, you know that you have everything. The mystery of the world you know: Believe in Jesus Christ to be a child of the living God. Jesus Christ is the body of all grace and truth. With Jesus, you have everything, and everything comes from Jesus Christ. Jesus is our true satisfaction.
Conclusion:
If the Jesus you know is inconsistent with what he revealed, then please come to know him
clearly before his revealed words, and ask him to choose you according to his abundance of
mercy and the will of the beginning of the world. You also believe in his name because of the
completeness of his revelation: he is a God of creation, a God in charge of everything, a God of authority, and a God who is present. All he did is to make you understand God's love and he wants to save you! Hurry up to accept his salvation and trust him!
16 "God loves the world, and even gave his only-begotten Son to them, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life. 17 Because God sent his Son to the world not to condemn the world* but to make The world is saved because of him. 18 Those who believe in him are not condemned; those who do not believe are already condemned because he does not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:16-18)
Discussion and Response:
Have you seen the grace of Christ?
Do you know his truth?
Do you really know the incarnate Savior?
